Mandates and the Consent of the Governed

When we look at this video from The Daily Wire, it rings true. Most reasonable people who listen to these Canadian truckers, who really have been one of the hardest hit industries in North America, what they are saying rings true. Truckers if you will, are the literal "poster child" for nonsensical COVID-19 mandates. Even if the justifications given to us by government for the mandates and regulations were accurate (they are not) Truckers are the most unlikely workers in a society to spread and infect anyone. Alone in their trucks for literally days-on-end these folks have been given mandates for masks and vaccination that threaten their ability to earn a living and in a very real way have broken the supply chain for the economy.

These government bureaucracies that are led by petty little Socialist men and women who have lived their whole lives in the shadow of strong larger-than-life innovative Capitalists are always like that little kid in school, who no one really likes, when given a little power moves quickly to abuse it and lord over everyone in his or her path because of their own self-importance.

It's over petty dictators, the people have spoken. It's time to face the reality that today COVID is here to stay, it is dangerous to less than 1/2 of 1% of those who get it and we must learn to live with it.
