Let’s Put The Victimization of Children Statistics In Prospective
According to the Washington Post, it’s estimated that 323,000 children have been victimized by gun violence in our nations schools over the last 20 years. As staggering as that statistic is, it’s fortunate that only 10% of those were actual fatalities. Americans should be outraged at these numbers and we should demand that federal, state, and local governments across the country immediately begin hardening our schools using available technologies that would prevent these events almost completely. This is something that Reality Is Truth has been advocating for years.
Now that we seem to all be able to agree on how outrageous these numbers are, as related to the victimization of our children, let’s look at something that is even more outrageous, Pedophilia. In 2021 More than 29 million reports of suspected child sexual exploitation were reported according to CBS News and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Annually, there are 100,000 verified cases in the US alone and that is only the reported instances it would be reasonable to assume this number is only a fraction of the reality.
So why is it important for us to compare school shootings and pedophilia? Well it puts the victimization of children in prospective and it puts citizens in a position to wonder how in the world can we agree that school shootings are completely unacceptable and outrageous yet many on the Left in this nation are 100% okay with our school systems being complicit in grooming and over sexualizing our children so they are prepared to be victimized sexually by predators? Isn’t this even more outrageous?
No doubt about it, school shootings are preventable and it is a disgrace that federal, state, and local governments across the country think it is not worth the money to make it happen. We really have to ask ourselves and our government officials why this has not happened. Further we need to ask the political elites in this nation why they are so outraged by school shootings but fully on board with having teachers talk about sex and gender with six year olds.
