Everyone is Questioning Biden's State... Of The Union

There is an excellent evaluation of the current state of the union by Jerrett Stepmon over at The Daily Signal. His article from March 6, 2024, entitled: 6 Big Failures of Biden's Presidency, provides a critical overview of President Joe Biden's tenure, painting a bleak picture of the state of the union. It starts by asserting; "The State of the Union is febble." and goes on to show how most Americans feel uneasy and pessimistic about the country's future, attributing this sentiment to a lack of confidence in institutions and the failures of the Biden administration.

The article outlines what it considers to be six major failures of the Biden presidency:

  1. Border Crisis: It highlights what it sees as mishandling of immigration policy, accusing the administration of facilitating illegal immigration, dismantling border security measures, and using illegal immigration for political gain.

  2. DEI Bureaucratic Cultural Revolution: The article criticizes the administration's emphasis on advancing "equity" through policies that it claims racialize society and promote ideological agendas, such as critical race theory and gender transition for minors.

  3. Weaponized Agencies: It alleges that federal agencies like the IRS, DOJ, and FBI have been weaponized to target political opponents and silence dissent, citing instances of alleged abuse and overreach.

  4. Debt, Inflation, and Cost of Living: The article blames the administration for inflation and rising living costs, attributing these issues to excessive government spending, particularly in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

  5. Global Instability: It criticizes the administration's foreign policy, citing failures in Afghanistan, ongoing conflicts, and perceived weakness in dealing with adversaries like Russia, China, and Iran.

  6. Failure to Restore "Normalcy": Finally, it argues that Biden has failed to deliver on his promise of restoring normalcy and unity, having instead exacerbated political divisions and leaving many Americans feeling disillusioned.

Overall, the article presents a painfully honest assessment of the Biden presidency, showing it as ineffective, divisive, and damaging to the country's future.

There is a lot of discussion online today about last night's Republican presidential debate. Who won or who lost? Is Nikki Haley or Ron DeSantis the best choice if something were to happen to Donald Trump's bid for the nomination?  What about Vivek Ramaswamy? Why is Chris Christie even on the stage? The Real Clear Politics national poll averages show Donald Trump at 61%, DeSantos at 13.5%, Haley at 10.3%, and Ramaswamy at 4.9%. Chris Christie is not even registering on the national average. This means Trump is leading DeSantis by 47.5% for the nomination.  We are including a few links to some pretty good articles and videos examining last night’s debate in order to give you an opportunity to make your own decision.  We highly recommend the first link from Matt Vespa over at Townhall. If you have some time on your hands Larry O'Conner always does a great job in his Podcast. You may have picked up on the fact that we at Reality Is Truth have pointed to Ron DeSantis as the can

Admit it or not, we have to face the fact, we are in a literal war with China.

Years ago, we were given a gift of two ATVs that were made in China. On the surface, it seemed like quite an amazing gift. Unfortunately, in a matter of months, we realized that you kind of get what you pay for. Now, 10 years later, Chinese ATVs still leave something to be desired, yet they sell big. For the consumer, they’re cheap, in many cases, 1/3 the price of more reputable and well-known brands. For the Chinese companies that sell them, they’re cheap to manufacture and cheap to sell. But the fact still remains: tens of thousands of people make the decision to buy Chinese, and the net effect is that when it comes to ATVs, in many respects, the Chinese are eating the big brands' lunches. When you started reading this post, you might have thought it was going to be about a literal war with China. Well, the reality is that we are at war with China, and over the last 3 years, we have suffered millions of casualties, including over 100,000 dead in 2023 alone. What are we talking ab
